The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle failed to switch to the electrical system at initial start-up intermittently, and instead used fuel. The sensor to detect the temperature and cooling for the battery failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 31,000.
