The -??Service Engine - Stop Soon-?? message was displayed. The vehicle had previously been taken to the local dealer, Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep (16701 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, CA 92647), where the computer was programmed, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 60,682.

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V010000 (Electrical System, Hybrid Propulsion System) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle failed to switch to the electrical system at initial start-up intermittently, and instead used fuel. The sensor to detect the temperature and cooling for the battery failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 31,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available. The consumer stated certain things are incorrect and not related to the safety complaint. This was a separate incident and was repaired. The complaint involving the part for 23V-010 recall was not available. However when the dealer was called the recall could be repaired by computer software input and was repaired on 03/14/23.
