I had similar problem on mine. Would die and start right up again. Got progressively worse. Replace Fuel Filter - no influence. Replaced Crankshaft Sensor (cheap but a pain) - no fix. Removed Fuel pump - found power wires and burnt and discolored (positive more than ground. Chrysler is using too small terminals for the current. I estimate the terminals are arating for 7A. Normally the pump will draw 4 - 5 Amps, but occasionally, under low fuel demand, it will stabilize at 7-8 Amps. Over time this will cause failure of the terminals. Installed a new fuel pump (Autozone). Has been fine for last 500 miles since then.
