So I got to my Sebring again this afternoon, since my mother told me she went out to it early this morning, and it started like it was a brand new car. I figured since it did so well for her, it would probably act up on only me like it always does. I got in it, said a quick silent prayer, and started the car...It seemed like the engine really didnt know what to do..it lingered and chattered, and shook for at least 6 seconds until it smoothed out like the car I once knew. I didnt apply any gasoline or anything. I looked out of my rearview mirror and noticed that i might have died and found a cloudy resting place because there was the most white smoke I have ever seen. Once the car leveled out in idling, I did press the gas and boy did I smoke up my whole area....or at least steam it up with all the combusted coolant and water....which explains why I put it in there, and all of a sudden its gone. Now I know where its been going. This car is horrible, and I would recommend it to no one. I am very disappointed in Chrysler, and I am confident I will be trying out Mazda or Toyota next. If I did blow the gaskets, who in the world will pay 2000 bucks plus to repair this? And who in the world would even think of replacing such a futile engine anyways? Use that money to put a down payment on something else because the sebring is just an endless list of problems. I could get into more about my transmission, or the consistent panic braking on I-75 that puts me immediately into neutral, or even in residential zones. There is no excuse as to why this car is clunking out near 69000 miles. Why does the 2.7 have to be such a terrible engine? And why couldn't I use the proper resources to figure this out when it was purchased almost four years ago? SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE SOME ADVICE!
