Must be replaced or airbags, horn and cruise do not work. The clockspring also went on the 1998 caravan i own. The difference with the van was that Chrysler admitted there was a problem and issued a recall. No recalls so far with the Sebring. So now I'm kicking myself for even thinking of buying another Chrysler product

When the clock spring on a vehicle goes you cannot use the horn (illegal to drive), cruise control, and no air bag. The price tag on this is significant enough to not fix (considering I have 2 other issues, one that takes precedence to be able to drive!), however, it is necessary to fix since it is illegal to drive a vehicle without a horn. Again, due to the numerous issues with Chrysler I will not be purchasing another Chrysler product.
