problem #1

Nov 152011

Sebring 2.7L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 133,300 miles

Car rattled and transmission slipped when trying to take off. People thought it was the tranny going bad. Turns out 3 of the 4 motor mounts were broken. Mechanic said its common with Chrysler. So, replaced all 4 and now tranny has zero problems so far. Lesson #1: solid motor mounts help. Lesson #2: don't ever buy a Chrysler.
