Sebring LX Convertible V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 300 miles

The Sebring convertible has a feature that puts the windows down at the same time that you flip the switch to put the top down. You can have them go down all the way, or just a little to allow the top to fold back with no hindrance. This is an improvement over their last model (LeBaron) which had problems when you put the top up, the doors wouldn't open. Well, in any case, I never reported it to the dealer, I just dealt with it, but the front passenger side window would go down at about half the speed of the other windows, and stop at about halfway, even if I was still pushing the button to put the top down. So, after the top is completely down and the rest of the windows are down, then I use the window button for that window only to put it down the rest of the way. Not a huge inconvenience, but annoying just the same.
