I bought this 2005 sebring april of 2006 at a chrysler dealership. It was driving fine for about 4 months, then there was a humming noise inside the vehicle. The humming noise could not be heard outside of the vehicle. I took the vehicle in to have it looked at, only to find out that many parts needed to be replaced.
Idler tennsioner, left transmission motor mount, inner sway bar bushings. After having all this repaired the noise is still present. My last complaint was humming when in idle also when in neutral or park and given gas, engine revs, rpms fluctuate. My response on the service correction form is " inspected for any engine noise when idling or revving up, no abnormal noises heard now at all. Compared with another vehicle with same engine and engine noise is the same no more repairs required remaining engine noise is normal. vehicle not making the same noise as last repair. I am very frustrated, my payments are 400.00 a month, with a warranty, but which will expire at 60,000. The noise is still there, but they seem to be ignoring it. When i wanted to take my vehicle back as if felt this was a LEMON, the dealership said sure, but we will only give you 11,000, being that I bought it for 18,000 back in April, I just knew i really got ripped off. I am going to have to consistently bring this vehicle back in to the repair department, so that they can deal with this, as the problem is there, and it won't go away until THEY FIX IT. Has anyone else has the same problem, and if so, i would like to hear. Thanks
