Stepdad purchased car for my husband. The headlights NEVER worked except on brights, dash lights also NEVER worked. They STILL bought the car. Well needless to say that was just the beginning. Months after purchasing it the car randomly would act like it wasn't going to start almost like the battery was dead but it wasn't. It would eventually start and wouldn't have anymore issues for a week or so until it did it again. Well another 2-3 months go by with it doing that and lights still not working and now it's randomly put itself into limp mode. I got it out of limp mode and it did fine for like a week then it just went crazy. Would go into limp mode while driving down the highway at 60 mph and would lose power and act like it's going to die. Would have to pull over, turn it off let it sit with key out of the ignition for like 5 mins to get it back out of limp mode but it would just go right back into limp mode.. then today the shifter cable snapped. ? I'm so over this car

Windshield wipers suddenly failed during use at highway speed. Thankfully able to pull to side of road without being involved in accident but obviously an extremely dangerous and potentially deadly situation. Wipers came back on when restarting engine, but not on high speed. Dealer checked high circuit to motor and was found to be OK. Checked with known good motor, same result. TIPM identified correct switch positions. TIPM replaced and operation verified.

Update from Jan 10, 2017: Chrysler knows their TIPM' s are a POS but they don' t have the integrity to admit the problem willingly. What genius engineer came up with the idea of placing what is basically a glorified fuse box in the engine compartment where it will obviously be exposed to water on a regular basis in an effort to save space? Book smart maybe, but absolutely no f'ing common sense. Probably has decided to relocate his or her head up his or her ass to make more room for his or shoulders

I had no brake lights for no telling how long. I took it to 3 different shops before the Chrysler dealer found that it was the total integrated power module. The part itself cost $750 and I had to wait 5 weeks to get it. No rent a car no nothing. Come to find out this is a ongoing Chrysler problem. They won't recall them because it's easier for the consumer to pay for the part.

Somebody needs to make Chrysler do the right thing. If a part is on back order for 5 weeks it ought to tell everybody something. I come from a family that loves Chrysler but I will never buy another one.
