I got my 2007 Sebring new off the lot. After I got it, there were recalls and was repaired. It's been a headache. First off wish I had never gotten this car. I've had gas throttle issues and a sensor light comes on. Took it to dealership, couldn't find a problem. They said drive it until it does it again and bring it back. Happened a number of times, loses power, gas peddle when pressed chokes down. Suddenly I pull over, cut it off and back. Frustrating to say the least. Dealership never finds the issue. The dealership seems like they don't care.
They make a $100 deductible when I take it in. After a few times I refused to pay i ! I've went through several pairs of brakes and rotors, only to keep hearing the popping sound still. I've had alternator replaced and tension pulley and belt. Still hear a whining sound coming from engine. Also had the struts and mounts replaced because they said that was where the popping noise was coming from. After still had issue of the popping noise. Then they said it was the sway bar and linkages, they replaced that too! After still have the popping sounds!
Also had a oil pan leak they fixed that. I also find the location of battery in a bad place. Have to take front driver tire off and tire wall off to get to it, this causes the post to need cleaning often. My seat belts and air bag lights are always coming on. Dealership said they reset it but it keeps happening. My passenger door inside handle is not pulling in right after closing. Sometimes my windows won't go up or down have hit the up and down button til it worked. I have had to recharge my ac.
The warranty I had didn't fix some things, I just got more warranty because of all the issues I've had, this almost covers everything. I'm going to take it in again because with the warranty I have, it'll rent a car up to 5 days because I don't always have a ride home if it has to be left . I'm having an issue of tires wearing out too.
I keep oil changed and take very good care of it . Really don't know what to do anymore very frustrating! I'd like to get it fixed and not keep taking it back over and over .. It's old going back time and time again. Another thing my head lights a very yellow I keep a very clean car and don't understand why the turn yellow are cloudy .
