The brakes began grinding and making a scraping noise over about a 2 day period. This occured when the car was stopping and when it was going. The brakes (all 4 of them on AWD) had locked, causing the brake fluid to get hot and destroy the hoses. All hoses, pads, calipers, rotors, etc had to be replaced.
