: the contact stated the stud that held up the tailgate on the rear passenger side of the vehicle snapped off, causing the tailgate to fall injuring the contact. The vehicle had not been examined or repaired. The manufacturer was notified and an incident report was taken. The consumer repaired the tailgate himself on 11/3/06. Updated 01/10/07.
