The dealership stated that they have had numerous complaints regarding the same problem, but unfortunately they could not cover the repair cost until the manufacturer set up a recall. The headlights on our 2000 Chrysler Town & Country AWD van have faded to an unsafe dim level of light. We took the vehicle to the dealer and were told it wasn't under warranty. They wanted over $1000 to put all new headlight assemblies. We tried new bulbs on our own, but it didn't fix the problem. This vehicle is an expensive, top-of-the-line model and much too new to have something as important as headlights fail. We still feel they have dimmed and are not safe.
