I don't know why the the airbag light comes on when wants to and sometimes it stays off. I noticed when I hit the brakes the light goes off. Can anyone tell me what the hell I can do to fix this problem. Or at least can someone tell me why it is doing this?

The vehicle dealerships said three was no recall and there's nothing wrong with the light even though it stayed on all the time. The airbags didn't deploy at all when our accident occurred on 12/31/13 and the van was totaled, me and my 2 occupants were seriously hurt. The police and fire department said the airbags should've went off at the speed we were hit at the moment of impact.

The driver side air bag sensor system has malfunctioned. The indicator light on the dash came on. Took it to the local dealer and they fixed it (temporarily). Light came back on within a month. Took it back and they said it would cost a lot (do not remembe how much) that I would have to pay to fix. Contacted the NHTSB and they said that there were not enough complaints to initiate a recall. Contacted Chrysler about the dealer as well as the problem. THey said that there was nothing they could do. Bottom line, Chrysler should fail, their products are not worth purchasing.
