I would like to see diamler Chrysler recall the gen3 safety belts installed in their vehicles. I currently drive a 2002 Town and country van with these belts securing my 2 children.

Airbag light keeps coming on while driving. Dealer keeps telling me it is fixed. Passenger slider keeps sticking when cold, it does not open by remote. Child seat belt has had to be replaced, and still does not latch well.

Rear seat belt latch around child car seat will mysteriously unbuckle. Proper installation of the car seat has been verified several times but latch seems to unbuckle after normal movement of my child in the seat. My research into this issue revealed that Chrysler installed gen III latches in the rear of our van even though there is evidence showing that they are unsafe. This is a very frightening situation and I will be contacting the dealer to try and negotiate replacement of all rear seat latches in this vehicle. I hope that these latches will be recalled before someone else gets injured.
