: the contact stated while driving 65 mph in heavy rain, the windshield wipers locked up in the middle of the windshield and stopped working. The contact was able to pull over and managed to unlock the wipers. After unlocking the wipers, the only wiper working was the passenger side. The contact was able to drive out of the rain. The dealership was contacted. The driver side wiper was strippeed and had to be replaced. Updated 11/21/06.

Windshield washer spray nozzles froze during low temperature conditions causing serious visibility problems on highway due to salt spray. Extra heavy duty 'red' solution had been used, supposed to be good for -30 degrees F. it appears that the position of the spray nozzles, and perhaps the position of the reservoir tank do no benefit from the heat of the engine or defrosters.
