Town & Country 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,500 miles
The caller said the warning lights on dashboard will come on and the speedometer and the tachometer will stop working. She said that sometimes she has to pull off the road and turn the vehicle off to get the lights to go off, and sometimes they will not start. She said occasionally vehicle will lose power when the lights come on and she gets off the road. Dealer replaced the computer module, but it did not fix the problem. Manufacturer told her they have not seen this problem with any other van. Dealer and manufacturer do not know what is the cause of the problem is and they can't fix it. The dealer told the caller that other vans were brought in for this problem, but the caller's vehicle was taken to dealer for this problem three times.

Contact states: Chrysler, Town and country LX, had this vehicle for a little over a year. The entire dash controls will not work. Second time this has happened, this has been fixed, but it has happened again. The vehicle misfires when it start, S and RPM gauge moves up and down. Since March the vehicle has been taken to the dealer, stoltz of St mary's, four times. Service manager said it was fixed yesterday, yet it still wasn't fixed. The service man said he didn't know what was wrong with the vehicle. It is still under the warranty.
