My car is also one of the Town&Country's that will turn over but won't start. I notice that when I try to shift into P or N it won't light up and thus won't start. Then, when you turn the key to try and start it, sometimes the odometer reads "done". As I am getting to be with this vehicle. Once the car sits for a period of time, it then starts up. I notice that if I don't see the P lit up when I am ready to shut the car off, chances are it won't start the next time i try. I can only drive the car around my town in case i get stranded anywhere.

Town and Country 2005 model problems started around 2009, All doors won't open with remote, I have to use key to get inside the car, I have to reset IOD inside the fuse box to fix it for only a week then the problem will return again.

Driver's window side won't open, can't fix this. Car won't start at all, change batteries, still no help, won't crank at all.Paid $250 to fixed broken wire under the fuse box. Engine overheating when I am driving uphill in the city.

When I turn on key frequently the engine does not crank although there is power to lights, etc. Sometimes we try it several times without luck and then it will crank. Other times it does not do this and cranks on first attempt all day without problem If anyone has had this problem, I would like to know if is the ignition switch, a selanoid, starter or what? I have taken to a couple of repair shops and they don't know what it is either and wish to take it for diagnosis. We are currently in Naples Fl and it seems like when you take it in you best leave your wallet with them. So if there is any history on this to know what it most like is then I can have an idea of the est cost ahead of time.
