- the contact was trying to fold the seats in a 2006 Chrysler Town and country, when he pulled the strap on the seat it folded on his hand. The contact states that the seat was all the way back and in the upright position when the failure occurred. Updated 01/31/07.

We purchased a 2006 Chrysler Town and country mini-van. The van is equipped with stow and go seating. On the third row seats, located on the end of each seat, left and right, is a pull tab. When my 6 year old son pulled the tab the seat ejects forward. The force created a lump on his head. The tab is easy to access and easy for a child to pull. When the tab is pulled the upper part of seat moves forward fast and with force. I believe this is a safety concern for children and even adult. Especially, if you aren't expecting the movement of the seat.
