My 2006 Chrysler Town and country van uses 1 quart of oll per 3000 miles and is under warranty. Chrysler says this engine can use up to 1 quart per 1000 miles and has refused to correct the problem.

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Town and country. Shortly after the vehicle was purchased, the brakes failed. The vehicle has been towed to the dealer five times. The dealer has had the vehicle a total of 42 days since the date of purchase. On April 20, 2008, the vehicle would not respond when the accelerator pedal was depressed to the floor. The vehicle would only travel 40 mph before it suddenly shut off. The contact was able to restart the vehicle and pulled into a parking lot. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, but they could not identify any failures. The failure mileage was 24,120.
