I have two children and the last thing I need is the stupid lights turning off while I am driving and guess what NO FIX FOR THE DANG THING, TOTALLY PISSED.

IT IS REALLY DIFFICULT TO DRIVE A CAR IN WINTER AFTER 4PM WHEN YOU HAVE NO LIGHTS. CHRYSLER BASICALLY SAID S---- BREAKS TOO BAD. WHILE THE CAR WAS BEING REPAIRED THEY BROKE THE MIRROR SWITCH, HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER THREE DAYS FOR THAT REPAIR.

Driving 65 miles home in the dark on country roads, the high beam lights wouldn't switch on. No blue dash indicator light and neither high beam lamp came on. The was NO usual 'click' detected on the column signal stick. The headlights remained on without interruption but the high beam lights just weren't there. I resolved to check the fuses before tearing the steering column apart to get the evil multi-purpose switch (notorious for controlling everything but the trunk light). The next day I took the car to the store before starting the testing and tried the high-beams for the heck of it. The damn things worked perfectly, right down to the familiar tactile 'click'. The little blue light was even working correctly. That was the end of it. How do you fix something that hasn't the sense to stay broken? I haven't heard the end of this — the evil multi-purpose switch is at the bottom of this, I perceive.
