2007 Chrysler Town and country. Consumer states that he is having problems with the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The light would illuminate at any time even when the tires had proper air. He states he has taken it to the dealer several times. The consumer also stated the transmission had to be replaced a couple of times, as well as the torque converter.

The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler Town and country. While driving approximately 10 mph the transmission began to slip gears. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on two separate occasions for identical failures. The computer chip and transmission were replaced on two separate occasions. None of the repairs have remedied the failure. The failure mileage was 34,000. The current mileage was 34,970.

The contact stated that every time she drives her vehicle and attempts to stop, the vehicle hesitates with a couple of feet of braking distance before it finally stops. The vehicle has been taken to the dealer three times regarding this failure. The first time, the dealer stated that the rear rotors were out of spec and they repaired the rear rotors. The second and third times, the dealer stated that the vehicle needed a software update to the transmission. The dealer has not yet created the update and did not know when it would be created. The speed was unknown. The current mileage was 2,400 and failure mileage was 4.
