This is a recurring problem with the 2008 Chrysler T&C. If the emergency brake is used, it cannot be undone and the right rear brakes will stay engaged, overheating the entire brake assembly as well as the entire wheel. Lots of smoke and acrid smell. Basically, car is unusable due to huge fire risk. This has happened about half a dozen times and costs hundreds of dollars each time to repair pads, calipers and warped discs. What good is an emergency brake if you cannot use it?
