2008 Chrysler Town and country. Consumer writes in regards to acceleration issues the consumer stated when the accelerator pedal was applied it would stick and then engine emitted a loud roar. The consumer stated he had to apply the brakes with great force in order to bring the vehicle to a stop.

The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler Town and country. While driving 60 mph the accelerated pedal was stuck. As the vehicle accelerated he had to use his left foot to release the accelerator pedal from the stuck position to slow the vehicle down.. the dealer or the manufacturer have not been contacted. The failure mileage was 53,000. Updated 02/17/10. The next day the consumer took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated nothing was wrong. Updated 02/17/10.
