The contact owns a 2009 Chrysler Town and country. While driving 65 mph, the vehicle independently shifted into safe mode. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the Y heater hose fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who confirmed that the Y heater hose fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired again; however, the failure recurred. It was confirmed a third time that the Y heater hose fractured and the vehicle was repaired independently by the contact. The failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000. The VIN was not provided.
