The transmission starting shifting very hard and jumping or jerking into the next gear. It went like that for thousands of miles until we were heading to the beach last April. Half way there we were pulling off to go to a gas station and it downshifted really hard and stalled the vehicle. I restarted it and managed to get it into gear and limp into the gas station. It would not go into gear and the transmission required a complete rebuild. Now the rebuilt transmission is starting to shift harder and jump into gear like before.
