Driving to work on 2/25/2015, entered the turning lane and could not turn steering, brakes locked, accelerator locked, and traction light automatically came on. I ended up driving through a traffic light into oncoming traffic and to a street that was not part of my route. The car finally came to a halt all by itself, but the engine was still running. I turned the engine off and then on again, and the steering and accelerator were unlocked but brakes were still locked. Car was taken to mechanic who found nothing. Mechanic took car to Chrysler dealer who found nothing.
This is a very scary situation. I usually drive on an interstate everyday to get to work. I keep thinking how I may not have been here to tell about this if I were on the interstate.

When we first purchased 2010 town country we had it for a few months and we started to hear a whinning noise when you start up it only lasts for a min at most so we went to dealer they could not hear it at all we left it alone for a month then my wife could not take it anymore so we took it back to the dealer we were going to take a trip so we had oil changed and had them check for the noise again they did hear the noise so i was not crazy but it did not last that long they said it might be air or maybe something with power steering not sure so they said we will get it in when we get back from trip we went on our little trip and the next day my wife was driving to work with my three kids and the steering wheel locked up the engine did not stall she said she could not turn wheel at all so she ran off in the ditch dented oil pan i had it taken back up to dealer by roadside they pulled it off drove it around for a little bit then called me and said they could find nothing wrong i went up there talked to GM and told them i did not feel safe they gave me a car for a day or two to make tests we will see
IF ANYBODY HAS ANY IDEAS LET ME KNOW I DON'T FEEL SAFE UNTIL IT IS FIXED RIGHT AND JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE BRAKES ARE BAD TO!!!!!!!

Intermittent problem with steering making a growling noise. First time I took it in the dealership said the power steering fluid needed changing. I authorized this repair. Several days later the noise was back. Lived with the problem until July 10, 2015. Dealership found no abnormal noise (Intermittent problem) and said the pressure line was leaking and and reservoir dirty.
It is obvious that they never fixed the problem in the first place.
It should be fixed under the 100,000 mile extended warranty even though my mileage was 100597.
