This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chrysler dealer.
Car consumes oil, if not careful it can get dangerously low. Worried it can lead to early engine failure.

Correlated with intermittent engine stalling. See other complaint.

Had issues with this van from the beginning. Horrible braking system. Car makes loud noise when wheel is turned all the way. Then it started shutting down while driving. And now it burned all the oil out and not one sensor came on or any sign of leak or smoke out of exhaust and it ended up damaging the engine where now I need a new engine. This is nonsense. With all the issues this van has had has lead to this and it should be fixed by Chrysler. Will never by a minivan again!

Since the day of purchase the oil has been low, every time I put gas in I check the oil level, I fill up every 2 or 3 days, and at least once a week I have to add oil, dipstick is always dry, where the hell is the oil going?
Also transmission problems, but I can't check the fluid, Chrysler never installed a dipstick because they don't want people touching it. Well I own it not Chrysler, it's my choice to service it and save money. Why was I not told this when I purchased this lemon, if Chrysler will not make better cars at least give the consumer the right to make their own repairs that Chrysler themselves cannot fix.
Anyway, once again, where is my oil going CHRYSLER, where O where is my OIL. Dip stick is always dry, they need yet another recall
Update from Aug 20, 2015: Finally after 4 years of telling the retarded dealer the intake is leaking they confirmed yes it is leaking oil from the intake gasket and needs to be replaced, they replaced the gasket but not after pulling their teeth out not happy at all with Chrysler. Now I have to fight to show them the other problems like the tranny slipping and the coolant leaking.

THERE IS NO FIX ACCORDING TO CHRYSLER AS THEY SAY EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION IS NORMAL FOR THIER CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY. ALMOST COMPLETELY OUT OF OIL BEFORE 3000 MILES AND SO I HAVE TO CARRY OIL IN MY VAN IN BETWEEN OIL CHANGES AND CHECK IT TO MAKE SURE I DON'T BLOW UP MY ENGINE. WORST PURCHASE IN MY LIFE!!
