The contact owns a 2011 Chrysler Town and country. The contact stated while at a complete stop, a strong burning odor emitted from the brakes. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who stated that the failure was contributed to both rear brakes sticking. The rear brakes and calipers were replaced. In addition, there was a leak in the rear air conditioner evaporator. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was unavailable. The approximate failure mileage was 42,000.
