Town & Country Touring 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 103,000 miles

I was on my way to my wedding with the van packed full of 4 kids, my fiance and I. We were just pulling back on the interstate from a small rest in Nebraska when after 2 mins after getting back on the interstate, I hear a big boom and our engine died. Found out the connecting rod ends broke and seized the engine. Also found out that the 2012 Chrysler Town and Country that has the SAME engine as the 2011's have a recall for faulty connecting end rods causing engine seize. The 2011's need to be added as well!! This was no fault of my own, engine was full of gas and I drive my van like a 80 year old!
