This was a major issue for me. If it wasn't for my brother and his mechanical skills I wouldn't even have a vehicle right now. But my Chrysler Town & Country started slightly overheating. We parked it and checked for coolant but there was no pressure pushing coolant through the radiator. So we purchased a new thermostat and water pump. We kept seeing coolant leaking into the engine valley. Little did we know the entire engine shell is PLASTIC! I've never seen so much plastic on one vehicle before.
Long story short, the engine cooler is surrounded by rubber gaskets on top of more plastic. It caused the oil cooler to Crack. This was not an easy job. I can't begin to imagine what a garage would charge to fix it. After doing my research, this usually happens ever 50,000 miles. It's not the first time mine was replaced.
