Grinding coming from rear wheels. Attempted to remove wheel on passenger side 1 lug nut broke. Dealership claimed to attempted to remove by drilling it out, but claimed couldn't because heat had been applied. I never took it anywhere nor applied heat. Took it some where to have taken off. Turns out I had to replaced rear brake pads and rotors. Funny how theres a hub issue on some Town and country but not mine. They didn't think the lug nut was a defect. I've never seen one break where the cover of the lug not tears off. Then the sides of the lug break off leaving the base of the lug. After driving the van prior to replacement of parts you could feel the heat coming off of the wheels. Possibly, could that have been the heat that caused the lug not to be able to have been drilled out like the dealership attempted. After several searches of the internet I have seen that I am not the only one unhappy with all of the other issues with this Chrysler product or the dealerships selling them.

Endure 816 tires say they are rated for snow. I have these tires on my van in a cold weather climate with snow and ice! I have had the van for two weeks and I have already made an appointment to get different tires and it is not because there is no tread left on the endure 816 tires that are on there, it is because this tire is the worst tire in snow and ice. All the tire does is spin on a hill and you will definitely not get up your driveway with just a dusting of snow! when stopping or turning this tire will just slide and is not safe at all. Please don't take my word for it, check into other similar complaints and you will see that this tire should have a warning label on it to not use it in snow or ice conditions. This tire is a safety hazard and should be pulled of the shelf in cold weather climates. If nothing is done here I plan on calling a news station and we will set up a driving course to test these tires so the whole world can see the amazing results that you wouldn't believe. These tires will be responsible for many accidents and need to be investigated. The tire name is enduro 816 runways 235/60/16.

I leased a new van on 5/10/12. In the summer of 2013 I was informed by independent tire company that my tires were in very bad shape, and I was going to need new ones. I contacted dealership because tires should not have to be replaced after 18,000 miles. I was told to bring vehicle in and they would check it out. Unfortunately, I work full time and was not able to take car in without a loaner vehicle (which they would not provide). When winter hit, the tire issue became very noticeable, as my vehicle has no traction whatsoever. When I took it in for an oil change I spoke with the service guy about it. He encouraged me to bring it in as soon as my schedule allowed it. In the meantime, I did research on these tires and found many stories of abnormal wear at a fraction of the lifespan of the tire. I contacted the service department and was told they would not warranty the tires because tires are excluded. My neighbor had the same problem with his tires after 17,000 and the dealership told him that they were aware of the tires, but to replace them on so many vehicles would be too expensive.
