Back in July 2014, we received a recall notice for replacement of rear quarter vent window switch. I have called our local dealer 3-times and took my van to them to have my windows disconnected. They said they would notify me when a new switch was available. Since then we received 2 more recall notices and now I would like to know why it is taking 9 months and still no fix. This seems like a little much. This is my second Town and country and have been pleased with the performance but the recall fix has me thinking it may be time to trade. Will somebody let me know what is going on"???" thank you, [xxx] E-mail= [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

While driving on pa turnpike, during moderate traffic. The cars engine and electrical power shutoff for at least 5 seconds. Dash lights also shutoff. The car engine and electrical turned back on and we continued driving. We also had other incidences when backing out of the driveway and the car would stall. It took our dealership over two months of diagnostics and several repairs to fix the problem. Dealership added an external fuel pump and also replaced something in the dashboard which involved the ignition. So far we haven't had any other issues but I hear of similar issues on other Chrysler vehicles and wonder if Town and country should be investigated for ignition problems.

Found out that there was a recall problem with the rear quarter window vent switch. The dealer disconnected it and said the parts was on backorder. We checked periodically when we did not get a call from the dealer and was told the part was not available yet. In January 2015 received a letter from Chrysler informing us of the recall. We again contacted our dealer a couple more times since then and have been told that the part still is not available. I called the 1-888-327-4236 vehicle safety hotline and was told to call 1-800-992-1997 and get a case manager number which I did and was put on hole for 110 minutes and know one has still answered my call........
