Seven months later, 12/26/14, Chrysler still has no parts available to fix the problem. This is a switch they need to replace or waterproof. If it gets wet or moisture collects, it may catch fire.

An overheated rear quarter vent window switch may cause a burning odor, smoke, or a drivers door fire without warning. The rear quarter vent window switch must be replaced on all involved vehicles. Incomplete but repair parts are not available.
