More than six months ago, I received safety recall notice number: P25/NHTSA 14V-234. This notice addresses the potential fire hazard caused by defective rear quarter vent window switches. I have requested that the dealer repair or replace the switch on four occasions. The response has always been "we cannot get the repair parts to fix the condition". the dealer also said that they usually just disconnect the switch instead of repairing the safety defect. I find this answer totally unacceptable, and want my vehicle repaired as soon as possible. Please advise me what the next step should for correction of the safety recall issue.

Multiple times windshield wipers began going and warning lights flashed inside the car and windows went down with out being powered and doors open and shut by themselves. Three times the car engine spontaneously shut down while driving losing power steering and brakes. Had it to multiple dealers - no code on the computer system so no one would do anything to fix it. Frequent conversations with customer service for Chrysler... nothing they can do. We've been instructed by Chrysler to keel a journal every time our car shuts down while driving... that's their solution. Even with this journal (assuming my family continues to survive the shut downs where we lose control of the brakes and steering while moving down the road) if there is no code Chrysler will have no solution.

While driving into the dark going approximately 65 mph in the rocky mountains the headlights and all light in the car went out. It was raining and the windshield wipers were going. The lights were on automatic setting. The wiper setting was adjusted on the control and all the lights went out including the headlights and all of the interior lights. Approximately 5 seconds later after moving the wiper switch around the lights came on. The lights all went out again approximately 1 minute later went the wiper switch was adjusted. We then tuned on the lights on the light control and the headlights remained on. The problem was when the automatic light setting was on.

Shortly after encountering a rain storm, where we needed continuous windshield whippers, all interior dash lighting and gauge lights were extinguished and remain so for an extended period of time. Since that time, when ever the whippers are in use for 3-4 minutes the dash lights simply shut down regardless of exterior lighting conditions. Exterior head lights and running lights continue working. This problem seems to happen quicker now that in late May. This problem makes driving at night a challenge as speed gauges and fuel gauges are no longer visible when whippers are in use. Two separate Chrysler dealers simply can not diagnose a problem or a cure.
