The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler Town and country. While driving 60 mph, the contact heard a bang coming from the vehicle, but continued to keep driving. Upon reaching his destination, the contact noticed that a piece of paneling from the left passenger sliding door had come off of the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that due to the climate in which he lives, the extreme heat must have caused the paneling to melt. The manufacturer offered no further assistance. The contact took the vehicle to prestige Chrysler Jeep Dodge (6520 centennial center blvd, las vegas, nv 89149, 702-625-7812) for an unrelated matter. While there, the contact was given a $200 estimate for repairing the vehicle. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 52,000.
