I purchased this 2014 Town and Country Sport Van in September 2013. From the 1rst day I drove this Van I noticed it didn't drive smooth! That at different speeds from very slow to highway speed! This Van would accelerate all of a sudden for no reason ! Driving in town this van will all of a sudden accelerate ! for no reason! Even when your foot is on the brake! on the highway it has just started to accelerate by it self! for no reason! And you never know when it might happen! So I'm really afraid to drive it! I 've taken it to the Chrysler Dealer several times for this! and I have Called them more then several times! and they just tell me they can't seem to find a problem!
This van has done this several times while I took my young girls to school waiting in the parent drop off car line! My foot on the brake at a dead stop, barely lifting my foot up some on the brake (not taking my foot off the brake) and it started to accelerate !! I immediately put both feet on the brake to hold it and shoved it in PARK! As it would of caused me to hit the car in front of me or run some children over! It scared me and my daughters really bad!!! I was afraid to take it out of gear to continue in line, but I had to! and kept my foot on the brake! keeping some distance from the car in front of me. and slowly crawling to get out of the line! I immediately stopped to the side and called the Dodge Dealer and told him what just happened! And his answer was to write it down when it happens and what it does!!! I was just at the Chrysler dealer for another appointment for the acceleration! 06/30/2015 and Nothing was done as Service said they would do it with another service order for the recall! A waste of my time again!!! I got a call on 07/06/15 to bring it in for the recall and mentioned the transmission problem they said they would look at it again! 07/07/2015 at 8 am I was at the Chrysler dealer for my appointment! I had to leave it all day till after 6 pm--- 10 hours !! At 4:45pm I called to see if they were done! Service said that they were just out driving it now to see if they good duplicate the problem with the transmission! And She would call me back in 10 minutes! She didn't! about 5:30 I called back and Service said they couldn't find anything wrong --That they had 3 service people drive it--that I should leave it over night so the next day Other Service people could drive it! I said I needed the van! I picked it up after 6pm and Service wouldn't even give me my work order receipt!! She said to bring the van pack up the next day to let Service drive it again with me driving to see if they see it doing it! and She would give me the receipt then after they close the ticket out!!!! They drove it about 17 miles! I will be taking this van up today 07/08/2015 ---for the Service to drive it again!! and for my Order Receipt! As they are Famous for NOT giving me a receipt so I don't have proof I had it looked at! I was told by this Service tech on 06/30/2014, that Chrysler changed the transmission starting in the 2014 Town and Country Vans and that a lot of people have been having the same problems! So Chrysler knows that, and this Dealer and Service Tech apparently know this! So why are they avoiding fixing this transmission issue!!!

Minivan driving on highway, driving normally, and they had to pass a truck. I accelerated normally and then the gas pedal sticks. Van is dangerous and needs to be recalled. Floor mat did not stick, that's a bunch of B.S. Something electronically is malfunctioning or fuel or throttle having to do with gas pedal. My wife and son's could have died. We will never drive the car again.
Bought it in 2014, NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. DEADLY DANGEROUS.
