problem #2

Town & Country Limited 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,000 miles

The brakes had to be replaced 3 times within 2,000 miles. They have been replaced 2 or 3 times more and it needs new brakes again. The vehicle only has 20k miles now. We just run it now with the pulsation and until they freeze up to the point they hardly stop the van. Numerous dealers have made comments like..... Chrysler just uses cheap China metal ....... did you drive in the mountains ....... the best was a service manager said did you get the brakes wet? My response was every time it rained! It's very simple, there is something drastically wrong with the brake system on these vehicles. I know a lot of people with brake problems on these vans. The dealers use the excuse that these are high wear items ....I feel you should get more than 800 miles out of a set of brakes.

I leased a new minivan and the brakes were shot in 800 miles the dealer put a new set on at 1200 miles they said they did it again at 1800 miles but all they did was turn the rotors. the van has shook and rattled since it now has 11,000 miles on it. The lease is up. I wanted to buy it but????? can this problem be fixed right ???. The dealer just said thats typical cheap China made parts. My wife was in an accident that may have been avoided if the Brakes were good. I don't have the vin at this time but will supply it later. Is anyone else having this problem? Any recalls ????????? What can I do????
