The gear shifter got stuck in park. It had worked fine previously without any hitches. We have owned the car since Dec. 2009 and never had any problems with the gear shift sticking. Then one night it was just stuck. We had to call a tow truck and the guy had to manually put the car in drive so we could get it to the dealer.
