When I am driving the battery light will go off along with the ABS and the brake light. I just bought the car about a month and a half ago.

Vehicle air bag light has been on for months, recently took it in for the orc recall dealer advised that's not the reason for the recall, hes had multiple other Dodge Avengers come in with the same issue. He sed me to contact Dodge and file a complaint. I did read today that 2012+ Dodge Avengers have came up with another recall that has to do with air bag light being on so I don't know what else to do beside file a complaint. Ive also had multiple other issues with this car, the braking system will skip before stopping (its really hard to explain). Ive been to 4 different mechanics jensen tires, tires plus, brakes plus, and the Dodge dealership themselves. All of them have performed a full inspection on vehicle and said everything is perfect and nothing is wrong with the car. The vehicle will stall at times going around 45-60 mph, turning at 15-20 mph and going up hill around 15 mph (Dodge says thats normal for Dodge). Car will clunk when putting it in D, R, P (Dodge says all Dodge make that same noise). Car idles rough when slowing down to stop, rolling and stopped at a stop light (Dodge says its normal for Dodge vehicles to do that when its hot outside). Im going to trying to go to another dealership for another full inspection and if they don't find these issue I will be junking this vehicle, its not safe to drive, its very hard to drive and I don't feel safe at all.

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Avenger. While driving various speeds, the emergency stabilizer control indicator illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but the diagnosis was undetermined. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000. The VIN was unavailable.

While in motion, driving, the car down the road it loses power. You have to either pull over or put it in neutral turn the car off and wait a about a minute and turn the car back on and you can go for awhile. A error pops up but when you shut it off and turn it back on it resets itself. Hard to find out what is wrong with it, but we changed out the throttle body and a sensor, was told that you cant flash the computer on this car. This has been going on now for 3 months.

I was driving, the etc light and the stability light came on, the car lost power. I had to shut the car off and restart it to get the car to drive normally. It would drive normally for a couple of miles and then I would have to do it again. It stopped doing it the next day. It started back up again this summer. I have taken it to a mechanic who cleans the electronic throttle box and has reset the electronics. This will usually fix it for a month or so and then it starts again. The car also will have surges of power, which are very scary. It also does not handle well when it rains or snows. Overall I feel like the car is unsafe.

Rear shifts side ways when going over any bump or expansion joint on road. Driving in snow or ice is very dangerous because rear is always sliding back and forth had car checked and Dodge dealership found nothing wrong with the car. Aside from giving me a panic attack every time this happens, I'm afraid I'm going to kill myself or someone else in a terrible accident from this problem. Thought it was something with the rear sway bar being mounted in the wrong place or something with the electronic stability control malfunctioning. Also I thought it was the tires so I had all new tires put on and that obviously wasn't the problem. I'm scared to death to drive this car but it is my only option.
