Put key in ignition and started the car it started and key was in the on position and running but continued to turn over and over as though it was restarting itself although I am told this is very normal because of a feature called "TIP START" it will continue to restart itself or time out. I do not believe a 3 month old vehicle with 4500 miles on it should have an issue with starting or not starting, for no reason it should even have to use this feature. That would indication to me that there is an issue. 3 Months old it should not have a problem starting especially when I had it started 5 minutes before to move it! I think they need to look at the fact that there should be no reason this car should NOT start in the first place rather than saying it is NORMAL.

Starting Issue.....Put key in ignition and started the car, it started and key was in the on position and running but continued to turn over and over as though it was restarting itself.... I bought my car with 46 miles on it. I've had this problem since I bought it. Brought it into the dealership where I bought it where I was told I wasn't starting my car correctly?!?!? REALLY??? Because I haven't been starting cars/vehicles for the past 17+ years??. Then was told it was a "TIP START" feature and they would try and fix it so it would go back to a non tip start...they failed to do so.
Months later...it still does it. So yesterday, I bring it to a different DODGE service department where I was told " DID NOT FIND ANY CODES SET IT SYSTEM. STARTING AS DESIGNED AT THIS TIME. WE PERFORMED A (PCM) POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE UPDATE WITH NEW SOFTWARE RELATED TO CONCERN." We shall see what happens. This is only one issue I've had with this car....there are numerous others. DODGE....UGH.
