I never bought an America made car, so I decided it to give it a chance and this is what I get, a piece a crap that has issue and is going to cost me more money to fix. Now you wonder why people buy foreign cars. I just recently bought a 2016 Toyota RAV 4 and no problem. Not like Dodge Avenger I bought in 2013 and is spend most of the time sitting in the drive way waiting a sunny day to drive since the wiper is not work.and I don't feel like put any more money into this car.

I bought ordered new 2013 Dodge Avenger RT in July 2013. The windshield wipers decided not to work this past Jan. when the weather cold and icy. Last month the wipers decided to work whenever they wanted. When they do work, they are only working on the slowest speed. While driving in a storm, they decided to stop working. when they came back on, they would only work on delayed speed. Now they only work on delay. This is a major safety issue and I don't see any recalls. After much research, I think it might be the TIPM part. It is my understanding with speaking to the Dodge house. This part can run $600 to $1,000. That does not include labor. This issue is a safety issue. Of course I have 39,000 miles and it is not covered under warranty. Dodge/Chrysler needs to step up and include the Avenger in the latest recall. This is not the first issue I have had with this car.

Windshield wipers failed in the middle of a storm. Pulled over several times, as they would randomly come on and not stop at all different speeds. Dealer has offered no assistance. Dodge has offered no assistance. Please provide a recall for this repair. Dealer will look at car 1/6/18. I do not have the estimated $1000 to fix the tipm.
