Bought a 2007 Dodge Caliber at the beginning of the month. The first night that we had it, I noticed the dash lights did not work. Checked the fuses and they were all good. Called the dealer that I bought it from and told him what had happen. Ended up taking it to the garage and was told that "they" (the garage) do not do electrical problems. Been a huge pain not being able to drive the vehicle at night, due to not seeing the speed, the fuel gauge or the tachometer.

Then about May 16th, my wife and I went for a ride and noticed the windshield wipers did not work, though they worked the night before. When I went to pull over to check the fuses, again, I noticed the turn signals did not work. Once I got home, I checked the fuses and even replaced some, just in case. All together, the vehicle does not have Dash Lights, Turn Signals, Head lights or interior lights. Just glad that the warranty covers the electrical problems.

Going to take it to a Garage that actually knows what they are doing and going to send the bill to the Dealer. Just wish I would have known about this site before I got the vehicle and knew about these problems beforehand.

The brakes fail. The brakes make noise. The speedometer is incorrect. The rpms are incorrect. The back windshield wiper washer does not work and squirts water into the car. The tires are wearing unevenly. The engine light keeps coming on. The steering is very bad. I believe the odometer was tampered with before I got the car. The headlights keep fogging over. The electrical is bad.The remote for this car is broken again. O'brien won't fix any of the problems. They took my $1500.00 cash and my 626 Mazda LX for $3500.00. The gave me a loan for $6500.00 for this piece of garbage that is hazardous to my son and me. I notice this car has recalls also. We are not safe riding in this deathtrap. The mechanic manager told me the rotors were already cut once. At 48k? How can that be? They won't take any responsibility for this lemon they forced me to buy.

Driving along and without warning my brake light came on, the malfunction indicator light came on and something chimed, my radio went dark and came back on. This happened every few minutes and there was a bump sound under the car as these lights illuminated. I was 10 miles from home and it was late so I was terrified. Parked it and left it. Was told it was grounding issues at battery or on a working harness. I have no idea what that means. I drove over rough railroad tracks right before these lights started flashing. I am on social security so I can't afford huge repair bill.
