MOST OF THE TIME TRANS WONT SHIFT OUT OF SECOND GEAR, INTO THIRD ,,,,NOW THE SHIFTER AT THE STEERING COLUMN WILL NOT DO ANYTHING .. FLOPS AROUND , NOT CONNECTED TO LINKAGE AT TRANS . ANY ONE OUT THERE KNOW HOW TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS ?

Caravan

I parked the van. Next day it would not back up! No warning.......... could this be a plugged filter? Still drives forward. A local garage said the transmission is gone? But is willing to take it off my hands for .10 cents?
