- the contact stated that in an attempt to start the 1999 Dodge Caravan the driver's side recliner handle broke off. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for repair, but the dealer did not repair the vehicle. The contact stated that there was a recall on other vehicles for this same driver seat recliner bolt problem. Updated 2/27/2007 -

The front seat reclining lever has broken off on both front seats. This makes it very uncomfortable to sit for any length of time. I was told that the seats had to be replaced. This is to expensive.

The lever and bolt broke off the driver's seat. The seat is unable to recline, causing the driver to be uncomfortable while driving. Consumer will notify the manufacturer.. also, third brake light bulbs malfunctioned, buld was replaced. The driver's seat adjuster handle broke.
