problem #3

Caravan ES 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 115,000 miles

If there is already a cable running into the door; why the hell do you need exposed contact on the jam. When it malfunctioned a loud buzzing came from under the dash and the inside light all lit up. I had to pull the bulbs in the back but found that if I turned the interior lights on with the dash switch-they all went off and the buzzing stopped.

Caravan ES 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

When making left hand turns the "Door Ajar" light will light up and the car locks will engage and the interior light will turn on. I continually have tried to shut tight every door including trunk and it does not solve the problem. The interior lights, "Door Ajar" light, and the door locks will act normal for a couple of days and then continue for a couple of days. It seems worse as the days grow warmer.

Caravan LX 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 99,000 miles

When vehicle is moving the door open sensor comes on causing the lights to flash and the automatic door locks to come on and this can happen two or three time a minute . Stopping and closing all doors again sometimes help but the problem does come back.
