Caravan V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

As others have said horn and cruise control doesn't work and air bag light stays on. Recalled but does not include 2001. Clock spring is the fix supposedly. Cheap Dodge won't fix cuz year not included or after 8 years pass recall I'd what I read. What about ppl buying it used after the 8 years? Fact is they made a defective product that took a life, maybe more, and they need to fix all no matter what time you discover problem. Especially a van that's used to carry up to 7 ppl and usually children. If the vehicle was purchased after the 8 year recall wouldn't you think the person buying it obviously doesn't have a lot of money,or they would buy new, therefor fixing the recall maybe an extra hardship and not get fixed leaving more unsafe vehicles on our roads. Shame on the jerks that passed or didn't pass a law to fix no matter the conditions.

(reported on)

Caravan SE 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 83,882 miles

I bought a van on November 14th 2005 and had to replace the clockspring since my airbag light stayed on while i was driving.... This may have caused the airbag to deploy while the vehicle was driving or anytime.... and that was my main concern since i am not a big person and have to sit close to the steering wheel as it is.... So it may have caused an accident if not taken care of.. i got this replaced June 28th 2006...
