How can you sell or trade a car with the headliner coming down. That said, the fix using Screw Type Tacks that screw into the board above the headliner does not look bad. They have a clear plastic head and are like a tack with a spiraled wire that screws into the board that the headliner is glued to (was glued to I should say).
So, far I am about 1/3 of the distance from windshield to the back of the VAN roof. Place a screw in tack about every 8 inches.
PS: I add this van has been garage kept since we bought in late 2005 with 18,000 miles on it. It was a Dodge Certified Rental Van. Been good mechanically and I like the versatility and drivability (do now have the electrical charging problem mentioned). The only other thing I have done to it is front brake pads once and replaced spark plugs and wires due to a Check Engine Code on CYL 3 (misfiring).
