Engine stalls after refueling. Also, occasionally while driving.

Car acts like it's starving for fuel. Pressing the peddle does nothing. Pumping the peddle can help sometimes. It's getting dangerous to go onto the highway because the van may refuse to get up to speed.

I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan. For the past 6 months I have had a problem with the car stalling. The Dodge Dealership has replaced a vaccuum hose, the CAM sensor, the thermostat, and checked the gas tank for debre and/or blockage. It will run rough for a couple days; then for no apparent reason, it will start running fine again. I have switched to Premium gas. Last night it started running rough and stalling at half a tank of gas. I stopped by the gas station and filled it all the way with Premium and bam! Running fine today. I do not have the money to replace every possible part/sensor, etc, that it would be. Just want to figure out which part needs replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jymme 303-328-8364.

Every so often when we try to start the car in the morning the car won't start. When we turn the key in the ignition the engine will turn over once or twice and then dies without starting the car. This will happen twice. After that we just get a clicking noise when we turn the key to try and start the car. The car has a new battery. Even though the car won't start, the lights go on and dashboard lights up. If we wait an hour or two to then try and start the car, the car will then magically start up without any problem. We have taken the car to a dealership and they were unable to find the problem. They say that it is a problem with the computer, but since the problem is so infrequent they can't track it down to fix it. Help!!!

My 2005 GC has been having electrical issues since I bought it brand new. The first month, they had it at the dealer for 2 weeks. The solutions then, replace the power train control module and the ignition switch. The ignition switch was to fix the not starting issue (car would crank but not start) i. e. bad switch, worked for about a year then the problems started again. Door locks, shutting of while driving, when starting all dashboard lights come on along with check engine light and takes between 3 and 5 min. till they go to normal. Of course every time you take it to the dealer the dam check engine light is off, so no codes.
the did have last month for another week and found what they said was broken wires under the battery box and 2 others behind fender well They fixed that and replaced the PDC (power distribution module) This all came about because they could not communicate with the PCM. All said and done the van worked for about 6hrs. As I was leaving for vacation guess what came on? You got it check engine light. Took the chance and made it SC. and back but still having the problems. All this and only 2 years old and out of warranty. Now this AM I tried to start it and it would start then just shut off, after 5 attempts it just would not start period. Now I haft to get it towed to the garage. All this at my expense, and no income. NO MORE DODGE FOR ME

I had just driven 5 miles from grocery store to my home. At the stop sign in front of my house without any warning my car "died". Just stopped running as I stepped on gas to accelerate from the stop sign. We pushed the car into my driveway and continued to diagnose. Key turns and all accessories work but radio flickers when key turns. No sound at all when key is turned in ignition.
