The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving approximately 65 mph, the air bag warning light illuminated. The dealer advised that the passenger air bag sensor was defective. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 51,347 and the current mileage was 55,600. Updated 09/09/10. The consumer was informed his vehicle was not a part of the recall. Updated 09/14/10

The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that the air bag warning light remained illuminated on the warning panel. The dealer advised the contact that the air bags sensor had failed and would need to be replaced. The dealer also stated that if the vehicle was involved in a crash, the air bags would not deploy upon impact as long as the light remained illuminated.
