The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Caravan. The contact noticed that the accelerator pedal became detached. The contact was able to drive the vehicle by depressing the medal part that was connected to the pedal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostics where the technician advised that the pedal would have to be replaced but the part was not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 59,000.....updated 12/03/12 updated 01/10/12
